Answers to questions we hear most often.
How much does it cost?
Monthly bookkeeping starts at $199. Your rate depends on your transaction volume. We'll give you a flat quote after a short conversation about your business.
My books are behind. Can you fix them?
Yes. We do catch-up work to bring your books current. Pricing depends on how far back we need to go and how much cleanup is involved. Once everything is current, we move into regular monthly service.
Is there a contract?
No. Month-to-month service. You can cancel anytime with 30 days notice.
How do I send you documents?
We use a secure portal for uploads. Takes a few minutes to set up and we'll walk you through it when you start.
Do we need to meet in person?
Not usually. Most clients work with us remotely. If you're in Macomb County or Metro Detroit and prefer to meet face to face, we can arrange that.
Do I need QuickBooks?
We work in QuickBooks Online. If you don't have it yet, we'll help you get set up.
What do I need to do each month?
Connect your bank feeds and upload any receipts we can't pull automatically. Most clients spend about 15 minutes a month on this. We handle everything else.
Do you handle payroll?
Yes. We handle payroll setup, ongoing processing, tax deposits, quarterly filings, and year-end W-2s. Setup starts at $399 and monthly processing starts at $99.
Do you file taxes?
We prepare your books so your CPA has a clean file at tax time. We don't file income taxes directly.
How quickly do you respond?
Within a day. If you call or email with a question, you'll hear back within 24 hours.
How soon can you start?
Usually within a few days of our first conversation. If your books need cleanup, we start there. If they're current, we move straight into monthly service.
Do you work with medical practices?
Yes. Medical and dental practices are a specialty. We offer bookkeeping along with medical billing, claims submission, denial management, and full revenue cycle management for healthcare providers.
